Pneumatic fenders are used in regions with very large tidal differences, for ship-to-ship transfer, ship to quay and for various dry cargo, oil and salvage applications. The larger fenders (2.5X5.5 and 3.3X6.5 & etc) size fenders are equipped with a safely valves for further protection of the vessel and the fender.
