Features

Pneumatic fenders are used in regions with very large tidal differences, for ship-to-ship transfer, ship to quay and for various dry cargo, oil and salvage applications. The larger fenders (2.5X5.5 and 3.3X6.5 & etc) size fenders are equipped with a safely valves for further protection of the vessel and the fender. The average pneumatic fender has a operational life expectancy of about ten to fifteen years challenging any other manufacture of fenders for quality, durability and reliability.

  • Excellent Compressibility and Elasticity
    Unlike the general rubber fender using the elasticity of rubber, this one utilizes the compressibility and elasticity of air. Therefore, the shock absorption rate is substantially upgraded.

  • Low Reaction and High Abosorption Energy
    The purpose of fender is to absorb the kinetic energy of the ship. Accordingl, the more energy that is absobed, the more efficient is the fender. However, at the same time the fender is better when a lesser reaction force is generated in order to prevent the ship-side from being deformed of to protect a quaty against damage. Rubberteck Pneuamtic Fender can well be said to meet these requirement.

  • Fender with Low Surface Pressure
    The best fender should have small surface reaction and hish absorption energy. Surface pressure of Rubberteck pneumatic rubber fender is equal to the internal pressure which is far below 15ton. This is the lowest surface pressure among fenders and contact utilizing air pressure provides completely uniform surface pressure unlike other fenders and can be termed the most ideal.

  • Good Buoyancy and Simplified Handling
    Rubberteck pneumatic fenders are buoyant, and they do their job at best possible position without being affected by tides. Moreover, they are much lighter and easier to handle than the conventional solid rubber models due to their hollow construction.

  • Easy of Installation and Repair
    Because of the excellent buoyancy, they can be moored to the ships and docks with wire or chain line. And even when seriously damaged by ship hulls, this fender can be easily and perfectly installed and repaired. Maintenance expense are drastically reduced.

  • Maximum Permissible Service Life
    Reinforced with strong tire cord and nylon duck. Rubber compound is lightly resistant to cutting, weathering, etc. Outside surface is covered with protective net if required. Therefore, it provides us with a extremely long service life.

  • Color Fender
    Rubberteck pneumatic fender can be satisfied customer's requirementof color for application to yacht or military usage etc. With grey, red and yellow color.

  • Testing pressure rate indicates the testing pressure at factory
  • Weight of fender body and net may very +-10%
